I Guess We Are All Okay

Just maybe not so great.

I guess we are all okay with forced sterilizations.

I mean, many of us are not okay with women aborting; but not being okay with that and being okay with this makes a kind of sense, in a way. We are okay with women not having any control over their bodies at all. Okay. Understood.

Or maybe, I guess we are okay with brown and black women being sterilized. In order to be upset about it, we would have to believe they are human.

(We are absolutely A-Okay not to think too much about that.)

I guess we are okay with fires burning in three states, especially if people in those states vote for Democrats. Those Democrats are not okay, anyway. Democrats are no longer people, got it? Okay.

I guess we are all okay with an Attorney General who wants to charge protesters with sedition. I guess it doesn’t occur to us that any of us, no matter what we are protesting, could be charged with sedition; it is the AG’s whim to decide. Even though our Founding Fathers said it was okay to protest, and founded our nation by bloody revolt.

I guess we are totally okay with black Americans getting killed by police at a rate of 2.8 to 1 to whites, because they are black. Okay?
